Dr David was born on Jersey in the Channel Islands UK in 1969 to a medical family. His father established one of the first practices there in 1965 and he grew up with lots of pets and the ambition to become a vet himself. This dream was realised in 1993 when he qualified from Glasgow University Vet School. Dr David is an experienced medic with a passion for surgery.
In 2009 he set up his first veterinary practice and in 2014 set up a hospital and 3 branch practices. In 2020 he and his family moved to Spain before arriving in Dubai in 2022.
Dr David is a proud father of 2 young boys; in his spare time he loves spending time with them. He has always been in to keeping fit, and is also a qualified Level 3 personal trainer.
His love of herpetology started at University and he has been an avid keeper and breeder of tortoises, snakes and lizards for over 30 years. He also has a rabbit called Peter.
